I wis...Love that poem!!! It really made me chuckle.
I wish you all the best for 2013 and your New Year resolutions.
In answer to your question, without a shadow of a doubt you can retrain your way of thinking. Buddhist meditation is a great way to do this. I've been practising Buddhism for about 5 years now and it's had a hugely positive effect on my mental well-being. I found meditation so powerful & rewarding that I now run two children's workshops each week. I wish I'd learnt how to meditate as a kid as it would have really helped me deal with exams and the pressures of growing up.
We often get into habits of thinking in certain ways but with a little bit of effort we can definitely retrain our thought patterns. In Buddhism, there are no problems, just 'challenges' and 'opportunities' ;) There are no worries as we train to live in the moment rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. See, it all depends on the spin you put on things ;) Good luck! xxSharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02962490826214694012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4807485144447057545.post-49275766684759795402013-01-02T10:45:32.511+11:002013-01-02T10:45:32.511+11:00Thanks Jo!
